2012 Nissan Sentra Overview
This is a brand new 2012 Nissan Sentra that we decided to do an overview on. We take you on a tour of the interior, show the exterior, and show some driving clips to demonstrate its driving characteristics. Some very useful information is given in this video, plus we threw in a special test to show the amount of trunk space this Sentra has.

Nissan has gone through painstaking efforts to improve on the Sentra platform by incorporating items like a lighter chassis, stylish exterior complete with high end LED touches as well as a more fuel efficient engine. The compact sedan segment is one of the most competitive in the entire automotive industry, and with the 2013 Nissan Sentra S starting out at $15,990 and the top of the line SL bringing the asking price up to $19,760 Nissan should have no problems at all.
Starting with the exterior, the Nissan Sentra has received a total redesign. The new body style is more aerodynamic with a striking look. The lights are full LED which is something you usually do not find on an economy car. The Nissan Sentra has these as standard features. There is a set of optional 17-inch alloy wheels that look great. On the inside the 2013 Nissan Sentra features more room than the Toyota Corolla, Hyundai Elantra, Honda Civic, and Chevrolet Cruze. The dash and center stack are laid out in an easy to use arrangement and the interior trim pieces and seating surfaces are quality.
The 2013 Nissan Sentra is powered by a 1.8 liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 130 horsepower and 128 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy is estimated to be a combined rating of 34 MPG. The CVT transmission and aerodynamic design contribute to the Sentra's efficiency. Another trick fuel saving addition is the Eco Pedal Indicator which is a gauge that tells you how efficiently you are driving.
The Sentra benefits from Nissan's Safety Shield Technology which includes six airbags, Traction Control, Anti-Lock brakes, Electronic Brake Distribution, and Vehicle Dynamic Control. The all-new Sentra is a great choice if you are looking for an affordable compact sedan.
