GSXR 600 Crash
Rider was uninjured. Crash on Mulholland Highway near Malibu Ca
Comment from rider "I locked the front brakes at the last second when i knew for sure im going down. i wanted to lay the bike down as apposed to going over the handle bars. i remember not being able to bring the bike back down after i straightened out, i had my head turned and eyes on the road until right before i went into the ditch. You're right i did go into the turn hot, i was rolling through the turn and when my front wheel wiggled i made the mistake of chopping the throttle."
Supermoto Police Chase
The cop was lit up with sirens on the way to an emergency. The rider with his music blasting, unaware pulled out in front of the cop rippin down the Snake. The cop was just a short distance behind the rider so everyone thought it was a police chase. Even funnier, the rider pulled over to come up for a second run and the cop continued on. Everyone thought the rider hid as the cop passed. When the rider came back he had no idea what was going on.
Typical High-Side throttle reaction
Sample throttle reaction of a High-Side crash. Notice how the rider (Dovisiozo) closes the throttle immediately when the rear starts sliding, but to no avail. On a dry track this would have led most probably to a high-side crash. On this wet track it ended in a low-side slide initiated by the rear losing grip.
Notice his right hand closing the throttle right before the bike spins out of control.

Mais ne reculant devant aucun sacrifice, et surtout pas devant une fracture du col du fémur ressoudant fort mal à mon âge, la WebTV Moto Journal a quand même décidé de tester le stunt ET le drift. De ces 48 heures passées en compagnie de deux top riders (Matt Mekatrix et Julien Welsch), j'en ai tiré 8 leçons que je vous livre in extenso et in peto, sur la roue arrière! Ducati Monster Motorcycle Crash - May 13, 2012
Ducati hits guardrail, amazingly the bike was OK. just a scratch or two. The rider was also ok with what appeared to be just a sprained ankle.
