GM Stepper Motor Replacement and Instrument Panel Disassembly
Most later model GM vehicles had recalls with the stepper motors in the
instrument clusters. Some models were repaired by GM through a class
action law suit while others were left fitting the bill themselves. This
video will be helpful for anyone replacing these and saving money. Most
places will charge between 150 and 300 bucks when the stepper motors are
only about $5 each. The entire process start to finish (provided you have
all the tools) will take about an hour...ish.

my Grand Am GT 3400 Supercharged - 1st gen RSM Supercharger Kit
Supercharged with one of the first RSM kits to come out.
PCM is only programmed by RSM and uses no MAF. MAF is not installed.
This is a 1999 motor I put in after the original blew up.
Battery will not charge. Its a mystery to me. Multiple alternators were
Stock Throttle Body and Headers at the moment because my '00 TB would not
fit the '99 motor.
Serpentine Belt frayed on one side (at time of video)
Vibrating felt at times. It could be from the SC Driveshaft under tension.
I drove this motor swap many miles without a problem but I could not tell
if the vibration is from an internal problem or the SC Driveshaft.
Supercharger is driven by a long
driveshaft. The downward pull on the pulley creates a slight bowing inside
and occasionally shears the bolt connecting the shaft to the SC. I have had
this shaft on and off twenty times. Sometimes it lasts a while and one time
it broke the same day. The keyway has been worn down from these bolts
breaking and another keyway may eventually need to be machined. I got it
machined for 50 bucks last time.
Transmission has an LSD installed.
Never had a good video back in the days I took it to the track, that was
before youtube was so great and I had any type of handheld recorder. It
wont pass the inspection at the track these days and I havent taken it to
one in years.

Pontiac Grand Am turn signal fix / repair
Replacement of faulty flasher switch corrected my turn signal problems.
Turn signal would work correctly at times, and incorrectly at other times.
This drove me crazy and was extremely hazardous when driving, no one could
help me correct the problem. I recommend purchasing a new flasher at a
reputable auto parts store. In the demonstration I used one from a salvage
