Jeep Wrangler Dana 30 Front Differential Aussie Locker Install
A blow-by-blow video "diary" of a recent Torq Masters "Aussie Locker"
install into a '99 Jeep Wrangler Dana 30 front differential. Special thanks
to Tony Tosh and his Garage, Northridge 4x4, 4WheelDrive, Morris 4x4, ARB,
Lube Locker gaskets, Stu, and Shayne.
Supercharged Jeep Rubicon Unlimited testing snow chains.
This isn't snow that has just fallen like your use to. It's snow that has
been on the ground all winter freezing and thawing. You could cut blocks of
it out, you can walk on top of it. The Jeep almost drove on top of it.
It's like clawing through a solid block of ice.
I didn't put the rear set on because I realized that I didn't have
clearance for them between my rock rail and tire. I'll trim it down and try
again. Just having them on the front made a significant difference.
Installing Brakes on the JK
During the last EA expedition (Continental Divide) about half way home, my
brakes started to sequel badly. As soon as I got home, I checked into my
local autozone and picked up their Duralast Gold pads. Super improved and
designed to be a step up over stock. We will see. Part number in video
This video shows how to change the rear pads on a 2008 Jeep JK. The
concept applies to many different makes and models though.
1. Be sure and scotch your front wheel before jacking the vehicle up.
2. Be sure and PUMP YOUR BRAKES until they feel FIRM before driving away -
AFTER THE INSTALL. This is very important.

'07 Jeep JK - Suspension Lift [S2 Ep.12-1]
Ya know, people are always asking if it is possible to get their rig on
GearZ? Well, today, Stacey does just that by borrowing an '07 Jeep JK from
a family and jumpstarting their project with the sole purpose of taking it
to the next level. However, the real challenge is to try and build
something that the WHOLE family will like, and still be able to use on the
street or off-road. If you've ever sat and stared at your project and tried
to figure out what the heck to do next, or what is the best thing to spend
your time and money on, this show is the one to see. And who knows? One
day, you might see your vehicle on GearZ!
