Old-school doesn't necessarily mean slow-school. Datsun 240z w/ L28, triple Mikuni 44's, AZC brakes, GC coilovers, Toyo R888's. Car is a weekend/track toy driven to and from events. Recorded on an Aiptek GVS, 720p 60fps.

3.1L 240Z triple weber carb tuning (w/ new Stahl headers)
A collection of short clips / butt Dyno runs while tuning the
triple Webers on my 3.1L 240Z. Open Exhaust. Unfortunately, I didn't have the
benefit of an O2 sensor / AFR. All in all, I was pretty pleased with the
final results, the new headers have really opened up the head's flow
potential. Sounds good, too! :)
240z @ NCRC Thunderhill 9/3/10 - Chasing a C6 Z06
Open group, 4th session, with passenger. Following Steve for a few laps in
his street-tired Z06 (I'm on r-comps). Not many cars left in this group,
afternoon got too hot. Many were overheating or broke. Track was slow so I
gave rides for all sessions except first.
Mustangs for lunch
240z (L28 Triple Mikuni 5 spd) @ Sebring: NASA HPDE3, second session of the
day on June 20, 2009.
Starring Gee-Force Z spider :)
My BMW E30 M3 at Thunderhill Raceway
This is some video of me at Thunderhill Raceway participating in Unlimited
Laps Nov 10th 2006. This is the advanced group. I ran a 2:09:75 this day
but only got one session without a passenger. Plus, I only used the timer
1/2 the time. I figure the car was running 2:08-2:11 depending on traffic
and mood, ha ha, with just me in it.
240z @ GGLC Thunderhill 9/10/08
Datsun 240z running repaved Thunderhill Raceway, clockwise (reverse
direction) with Cyclone. Combined advanced/intermediate group, 2nd session.
Excuse the loose bolt rattling around the spare tire well.
240z @ NCRC Thunderhill 6-30-12, Open Group
Another great day at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willows, Ca. with NCRC.
Good weather, good friends, and fast drivers made for a fun day in the open
group. Badly warped front rotors unfortunately cut this session short.
1970 Datsun 240Z/L28- 7000rpm in first three gears - triple Weber 40DCOEs
Watch for the surprise at the end (!)...didn't get pulled though. See
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjpmkfdnNvI for the same engine with SU
carbs...which is a 1983 F54 L28 w/P90 turbo head, 10:1 compression, 15lb flywheel.
The engines sound similar but the Webers have much more torque than the
SUs, pull very hard in 1st and 2nd and easily to 7,000 in 3rd. I have a
Centerforce 2 clutch now which make changing gears a tick slower compared
to my earlier video however. The car is definitely faster through each gear with solid power to
Mazda3 w/ straight-cut gears + turbo kit @ Thunderhill Raceway
HPDE at Thunderhill in my Mazda3 -- NCRC 9/3/2010 -- my first time at this
track, so lines could use some improvement. Just a quick clip of a few
interesting laps from third session, following around a friend in his
Mazdaspeed3, also passed an rx7 FD and a Mazdaspeed Miata. Sorry for the
shaky video, loose headrest mount, gets bad above 100mph. top speed in
straights was ~118.

240z @ NCRC Thunderhill 8-8-11, Fun with Hal
240z @ NCRC Thunderhill 8-8-11, Open Group. Another great day at Thill with
NCRC. Working our way through traffic following Hal in his MServiceGarage
#74 E36 M3. Hal can sure make that street driven M3 scoot! Lots of fun when
you can drive in close quarters with someone whose driving you trust. Great
