The diagnosis of bad strut bearings can be done trough several symptoms observation : -while getting out of a curve difficulty for the steering to come back centered alone -difficulties to turn the steering wheel while parked -once all front end lifted, difficulty to turn manually the wheels both directions -noises from the hood sides compartment while cruising or running on a bump

Replacing struts

There is a strange popping sound coming from my new struts and new bearing plate when I press down on the car. Its worse when going over speed bumps. Sounds like something is going to fall off. I tightened everything and 3 mechanics have tighten things down and it still is like that.
