98 Toyota Avalon XLS: Short Ram Air Intake Before & After
I got the intake from eBay seller "racing_guys" for $36.95, item description "AIR INTAKE+FILTER 1999-2000 01 TOYOTA CAMRY SOLARA 3.0L"
The stock bolts did not fit around the mass airflow sensor mount in the new intake so I had to dremel some other ones down to size, other than that the hardest part was removing the stock intake.

2005 Toyota Camry V6: How to Replace the Spark Plugs (and Air Filter)
This video shows you the basics of replacing the spark plugs in a 2005
Toyota Camry V6 engine. This job is not for the weary. Approximate time of
completion for DIYers: 6 hours.
1) 1/4 ratchet
2) 3/8 ratchet
3) 5/8 spark plug socket (this special socket has a grommet inserted into
it for the removal of spark plugs)
4) 10mm socket (1/4 & 3/8)
5) 14mm socket (1/4)
6) 8mm Allen (3/8)
7) 6mm Allen (3/8)
8) 6-inch extension (3/8)
9) 6-inch extension (1/4)
10) 12mm short wrench
11) 14mm short wrench
12) Shop towels (throw-away) for cleanup
1) Always unplug the battery's negative terminal before doing any work on
your engine - especially electrical work.
2) I used a jack underneath the car to raise it approx. 10 inches for
easier access (and to save my back).
3) Covering the battery and intake area (front-right of engine compartment)
with a large work towel will give you a great place to put your tools and
4) Purchase anti-seize compound (lube) and Dielectric grease before
starting (both are shown in video).
5) Spark plugs are "gaped" from the factory for you - there is no need to
change the spark plug gap. If they are not gaped for you, the gap is: 0.043
6) Using medical gloves (as seen in the video) allow you to keep your hands
clean of dirty engine parts.
I am not a mechanic, so excuse my terminology of parts (I intermittently
exchange "manifold" with "throttle body" in some parts of the video and the
long plastic tubes in the spark plug shafts are called, "coil packs."
I made this video for my reference only. I take no responsibility for
anyone using this video and, in doing so, rendering their car useless. Use
common sense when working under the hood of any car.
1997 Nissan 2.4L Intake Gasket Replacement (Part 1) -EricTheCarGuy
In a way this is a sequel to the Nissan Altima Misfire Diagnosis Video. It
would have been a REALLY long video if I posted both together. In fact I
had to split this video into 2 parts as it is. This job isn't for the weak
at heart. It took me most of the day to get it done. Most of the issues
involve accessibility to the fasteners. Some are stuck down in there
pretty good. I'm told this is a common issue with the 2.4L engine so you
may run into this at some point. If you decide to do the repair yourself,
this video can walk you through the process. For now, sit back, and watch
me suffer. Here's some useful links for you.

How to Change Spark Plugs and wires on 98 Toyota Tacoma 4 Cy
Changing spark plugs and wires on 1998 Toyota Tacoma 4 Cyl. 2.7 Liter.
During wet weather it would sputter and misfire. Took it in to O'reilys and
hooked it to their diagnostics machine for free and it showes cyl. 2 was
misfiring so I ordered the spark plugs and all new wires and replaced them!
It took probably a total of 45 min! Very easy!
