This was the 9 second run for the Monte Carlo. Mods were Computer Tune Headlight ram air with air filter out Rear tires at 55 psi Front tires at 27 psi Spare tire and other weight deleted Mufflers deleted with glasspack The Avalanche amazed me.. he claims its the slower engine and all stock.

2003 Monte Carlo Straight Pipes
This is my 2003 Monte Carlo 3800 with (almost) straight pipes. I bought a Dynomax Cat-Back, which was almost a mistake. It comes with a glasspack to replace the resonator, and I left that but I cut off the two back mufflers. For some reason, this camera likes to make things sound quiet, so when I start reving it actually sounds quieter than when its idling.. stupid 4.0 megapixel cameras.

My 2003 Monte Carlo High Sport(HS) SS that I bought on 11/1/11 in Troy, OH to replace my ageing Z28. One of roughly 3000 HS/SS made that year Total price after the trade-in and negotiating came to $8000. This car only had 57k miles on it as of the first week of November 2011. It's such a great example of GM w body design.
