This is my pride and joy. The last year of the 426 hemi. I am the second owner and, as the movie will embarrassingly show, I treat this car like a cupcake. It is grandma's hemi with column shift 727. I asked why the original owner ordered it with that and he said, "just to save money." The car cost about 5,000 with about 1,000 of that the engine and "required" options. It is absolutely stock and now even has 14 x 6 black wheels on it. Only 47,000 miles on this beauty and you can see more of it at http://www.marlia.com.

Mike Kamm sat in the back seat of my 67 Plymouth GTX, an original 30,000 mile Hemi 4 speed car, while I carefully baby it down Norwalks 1/4 mile dragstrip. This pass was run on original style G70-14 bias ply tires, so there was tire spin. Thats why I had to back pedal a little in 1st and the shift light never went off in 2nd. I had the light set to come on at 6500 rpm, but wasn't shifting untill 7000. This was a mid 11 second pass at about 124 mph.

**BEST 11.61 @ 121mph, 1.69 60ft all at 3800lbs!!! Had the mph for a bottom eleven and still didnt have all the bugs worked out. Didnt get to turn the wick up to much, only ended up shifting at 7200, though the motor makes peak power at 7600, so there is much more left in it. NEW COMBO : all new 427, G-Force GF4A 4 speed, etc.
