Putting the Top Down on the Pontiac Solstice
Showing just how easy it is to put the top down on the Solstice. This is done in a Solstice that doesn't include power windows or locks. Everything is manual so I have to open the trunk using the button in the glove compartment. Solstice owners with power options can open it using the keyfob, if so suited
Solstice Trunk Mod - 2 1/2 inch Spring
Using a pair of 2 1/2 inch springs that I got from a hardware store, I added them to the mechanism that opens the trunk to allow it to open all the way instead of the stock 3-4 inches.
