Ford GT40 Driven by Derek Bell at Sebring International Raceway (Onboard)
This is five-time LeMans winner Derek Bell behind the wheel of a 1966 model GT40 Mk.I built by Pathfinder Motorsports doing a demonstration run at Sebring International Raceway's 24-hour course. Derek, also a former Formula 1 driver, is driving with a passenger who won a charity demo drive. Filmed during the HSR Sebring Fall Classic Races on December 6, 2009, this GT40 won the US Vintage Grand Prix in its class and later won the New York Governor's Cup Race. It is a continuation model built by Superformance and is chassis number GT40P/2090. It is registered in the Safir GT40 and Shelby Registries. 1966 GT 40. Unique, left-hand drive "Ferrari Killer" racecar! This car has a Ford 427 side-oiler NOS (new old stock) engine, just like the car that beat Ferrari and won 1st, 2nd AND 3rd at Le Mans in 1967. Car is red with white racing stripes and is totally STREET LEGAL: licensed and inspected to be driven on the street.

Bob Bondurant Testing a Superformance GT40 Mk.2
Bob Bondurant, who raced GT40s at Daytona and Le Mans in 1965, tested the Superformance GT40 Mk. 2 powered by a Roush 427 V8 at The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving. This car is a very accurate tribute to the Shelby American 1966 Le Mans winning GT40 of McLaren and Amon.
