1979 GMC 7000 Hill Climb 2nd Gear Low Range - 10MPH - Detroit Diesel 4-53T
Testing my 16,000lb or so loaded 1979 GMC 7000 Box Truck/Motorhome on the steep hills next to my house. It does well in 2nd and 3rd gear low range, but 4th low range it stalls without downshifting.
Engine: Detroit Diesel 4-53T
Transmission: Spicer 5052-C - 5 Speed Direct
Rear Differential: Eaton 2 Speed 5.57/7.60 gears
Top Speed:58MPH @ 2800rpm

1950 GMC Cummins Restomod Motorhome
