Ford F-150 Ecoboost vs Chevy Silverado Duramax Pick-up Mashup Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) Ford expects to sell almost 100,000 brand new EcoBoost twin turbo F-150s this year. With a towing capacity of just over 11,000 pounds and 360 HP, the F-150 is a class leading pick-up truck. But how will it do when stacked up against a Chevy Silverado 2500 HD (heavy duty) with the Duramax turbo diesel engine? And perhaps even more importantly how do both classic American pick-ups do when used the way that many people use pick-ups...as their daily drivers? We took two of America's newest and most popular turbo-charged pick-ups and put them to the everyman test of comfort, ease of use, and combined that with a very unusual drag race to see which pick-up was the better daily driver.

Top Ten things not to do with a Ford F-150 Raptor
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The Ford SVT F-150 Raptor is about as close to a
race truck as you can buy from your local dealership. It's fast, fun and
furious but that doesn't mean that can do everything. These then are the
Top Ten things not to do in with a Ford Raptor.
2011 Ford F-150 Mashup review: Ecoboost V6 Twin Turbo vs 5.0L V8
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2011 Ford F-150 EcoBoost Twin turbo has been a surprise grand slam for Ford.
Not only has this V6 Twin turbo pick-up
proved to be the most popular engine choice in the country's most popular
vehicle but it also surprised many automotive journalist and buyers with
it's fuel economy, towing capacity and 365 horsepower. So which is the
better F-150? The traditional V8 or the brand new twin turbo V6 EcoBoost? Check out this video as we compare the
two Ford best selling pick-ups to each other.
2013 Ram 1500 vs Ford F-150 vs Chevy Silverado 0-60 MPH Mashup Test & Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2013 Ram 1500 Pick-up ( you may remember it
as a Dodge) is virtually all new. OK, the HEMI engine option remains but
same as the new Ram 1500 is now available with the Chrysler Pentastar V-6
engine and a HEMI V-8. But for 2013 the Ram also gets a new and class first
8 speed transmission, and optional self-leveling air suspension and
(according to Ram) best in class fuel economy. Of course we wanted to know
know just how fast the new Ram 1500 is to 60 MPH and perhaps more
importantly how it competes with the best selling vehicle in America...the
Ford F-150. We also wanted to know how it stacks up against the Chevy
Silverado. If you are curious as well, watch this exclusive TFLcar mashup
review as we test and review all three classic American pick-up trucks and
see which one is fastest to 60 MPH.
2013 Ram 3500 heavy duty pickup takes on the Ike Gauntlet towing test ( Episode 2 )
( http://www.TFLtruck.com ) The 2013 Ram 3500 Laramie Longhorn Crew Cab
Heavy Duty Pickup is built to tow. So we decided to try to tow with it up
one of the steepest and highest American Highways. From Dillion, Colorado
to the Eisenhower Tunnel U.S. I-70 climbs 8 miles to a maximum elevation of
11,158 feet or 3,401 meters. That's enough elevation and grade to test the
most powerful of pickups. Is the Ram 3500 Heavy duty up to the task of
towing a 17,000 pound horse trailer to the top of the tunnel.
In fact according to Ram this diesel mobster dually with 850 lb-ft or
torque can tow up to 30,000 pounds. That's enough weight to need a
commercial truckers license in most states. In this second TFLtruck Ike
Gauntlet video review we test the truck down the Ike Gauntlet see how fast
it will brake with a 17,000 pound horse trailer from 11,000 feet of
elevation down a 7 percent grade with the help of our friend Kent from (

Big Trucks Duke it Out: Full Size Pickup Comparison
MORE FULL SIZE TRUCK COMPARO @ INSIDELINE.COM:
We see it every Friday during our evening commute. A stream of vehicles
choking the freeway, headed out to the Mojave Desert or the Colorado River
for some well-earned weekend stress relief.
The fun varies, from camping to dirt-bike riding to water-skiing. But the
vehicle that invariably gets tasked with hauling the corresponding
equipment is a full-size pickup truck. You know, like the 2009 Chevrolet
Silverado 1500, 2009 Dodge Ram 1500, 2009 Ford F-150 or 2009 Toyota Tundra.
Sure, we talk about the virtues of the minivan as a family hauler, and
there are many. But the minivan stands no chance against a looming 25-foot
camping trailer. And SUVs are easily flummoxed by motocross bikes and the
need to carry their smelly gas cans (or anything that's remotely dirty,
actually) in the vehicle's cargo area.
There's nothing like a pickup, with its big bin in back that doesn't care
what you toss into it. And the truck is sure to be around long after the
full-frame SUV falls completely out of favor and descends into the
three-row car-based sensibility that is the crossover.
What's the Best Truck? Ford F-150 vs Ram 1500 -- Edmunds.com
What is the best truck? There aren't many, but everyone has a strong
opinion. To help provide an answer, this time on Face Off we asked
Edmunds editors James Riswick and Dan Edmunds to pick what they
thought was the best pickup.
James chose the best-selling Ford F-150. Dan brought a Ram 1500 along
with an Airstream trailer to really see which of these equally priced
pickups was the most capable by towing it up a very steep grade. They
also compare cab quality, features and comfort.

What we think is the best looking trim level in the 2013 F-150 lineup. The
new features really elevate the truck to a more high tech and premium
level. The 3.5L Twin turbo V6 moves the
truck with authority and brings with it best in class MPG. It's hard to
find fault in this best seller for Ford, other than the fact that it is
pricier than it's competitors although it shows in how it's built and the
way it drives.
