After first coat of black paint, car was completly rubbed dovn for imperfections and repainted, car was finished off with 6 coats of clear, rubbed down in between, result the paint is like a mirror...Please disregard the ultra cool rims :-)

This is a Replica of a 1986 Countach that I am working on. My original goal was to have the car done by June '09 but that deadline is going to come and go before the car is done. I will continue to chip away at it and do my best to make it show worthy.

Countach reassembly after paint
Just started to reassemble my car, it´s been a long road to this stage, taken 10 years to build and around 3000 hours, almost everything is made by hand, all paneling and grills are made of aluminium, doorframes in stainless steel all bolts nuts etc are stainless steel or titanium where needed...all the best and new parts are used on this machine, hoses aeroquip, engineparts edelbrock, stainless steel paneling in enginebay (mirror finish), BIG stereo, 2 12" subs in the cabin, 2 amps in the rear trunk, very costly 10 stage paintjob, italian leather interior with alcantara inserts and dashboard, interior is a true replica of the original. Festo pneumatic opening doors rear trunk, hood, headlights controlled via remote or buttons in the car...the list goes on..................
