Well, technically this is my 3rd lap, but during my first ever track-day trip to the famous North Loop. The car is my 2011 BMW 135i, bone stock with the standard RFT's. So, along with it being my first time on the course, this wasn't a blazingly fast time, so cut me some slack. Even so, it was an awesome experience, stay tuned because hopefully I'll be back there and hopefully I'll be a little faster.
Lotus Exige S (220) Nurburgring lap with BMW 135i showboating (8:58 BTG)
Lap of Nurburgring Nordschleife in Lotus Exige S (220). Includes a bit of tail-out action from a crazy 135i driver (from 3:03 and from 7:24). Was quite something to witness, though i did think he was going to bin it at one point!
BMW 135i vs m3 vs lancer evo vs porsche nurburgring turbo crash Nordshleife 720p
The tyres are rubbing, you can hear it in the video, and near the end of the lap the power is cut due to an engine fault. Actually this was the beginning of the end of my fuel pump which died the next day at Spa Francorchamps (thanks BMW). You can hear my passenger is dissapointed about the problem come the end of the lap.

Redesigned 2012 BMW 135i Coupe Exterior and Interior Design
http://www.eurocarnews.com - BMW Group USA - The innovative interior design incorporates high-quality and sophisticated trim elements with luxurious upholstery and color choices. A 60/40 split rear seat is standard. The control console for the entertainment and air conditioning functions is integrated smoothly and harmoniously into the dashboard through its soft radii and flowing surfaces. Added in 2009, a Heated Steering Wheel is included in the optional Cold Weather Package for the 128i Coupe, and is available as a stand-alone option on the 135i Coupe (Cold Weather Package required). BMW's iDrive controller featured in the optional Navigation system is integrated into the center console, again following BMW's philosophy of good ergonomic design. Galvanized pearl gloss surfaces adorn the interior door handles, the glove compartment handle, the radio's rotary knob, the knobs of the automatic air conditioning system, the iDrive Controller, and the ornamental trim strips featured on the sports steering wheel.

Pagani Zonda R - Nurburgring lap
Pagani - Pirelli Tyre - Assuring new technologies and materials are fit for production means also putting the vehicle's components under severe stresses, exceeding those normally encountered in every day road driving.
The Nürburgring Nordschleife is the most demanding track in the world, for man and machine, an ordeal that each Pagani has to pass, only one of many in the entire development phase.
The Zonda R serves as the ultimate test bench, a car able to reach acceleration figures and speeds that are not possible with a road car.
This is further underlined by a laptime of 6:47,5 min for the 20,832 km Nordschleife. Driver: Marc Basseng
135i "Golf Tee" Mod
BMW uses a vacuum operated flap in the Exhaust to alter the sound of the Exhaust at low RPM. Normally, this flap opens over 3,000 RPM, but with this modification, you can keep it open all the time.
2011 BMW 135i N55 Engine
Listen to this "cold start" of a brand new 2011 BMW 135i with the new N55 twin-scroll single turbocharger. Having listened to the N54 powered 135i and this new version, I can definitely say that the Exhaust note is noticeably more throaty and aggressive, in a good way.
Temps were in the upper 70's, and the car may have been driven earlier in the day. Oil temp gauge was pegged at 160 (lowest reading possible).
Oh yeah, and this car pulls like a rocket.
