My '69 Mustang & junk pile 351-C 2nd pass
My full chassis 69 Mustang at TXR Kennedale way back in 1990 with a half dead 'junk-pile' 351-C. My last good Cleveland never saw the Mustang since it broke a rod while in my Ranchero. So this weak 351-C was cobbled together from leftover mismatched parts from past Clevelands. Original video 8MM, converted to VHS, then later to DVD.
My '70 Ranchero & 351-C, 2nd pass
My old heavy, rusty, & beat up 70 Ranchero from way back in 1989. This was back when doing a bunch of dry-hops after the burnout was part of the fun. 3600-3700 lbs, 351-C, FMX trans, ancient NOS Nitrous, & small worn-out slicks. Ran 6.70's 1/8 mile with fresh slicks, 6.90's spinning with dead slicks. Original video copied VHS, converted later to DVD.

rwhp before- 396.5 after- 619.2
rwtq before- 513.1 after- 673.3
Target air fuel ratio was 11 but we ended up stopping at 10. We could have easily squeezed out another 50hp or more but left it a tad rich. If we were running racing fuel I would have leaned it out a bit but this is a street car running pump gas which is not so reliable. Not to mention the IRS. Not sure how much torque it can handle.

The Bird nitrous backfire @ Throwdown in T-Town
It was bound to happen, losta head gasket, caused a Nitrous backfire, melted carb Boosters, blew brake check valve apart, lifted the intake...bad stuff. Started it up and drove it back to the trailer lol, EMS said "You sure its ok?! There was a lot of fire and your hood is trashed..." haha
Mustang Nitrous Backfire Nitrous backfire @ the top of 2nd gear....resulted in a destroyed mass air meter, blown intake gasket and unplugged every vacume line all @ once. The old t-5 wouldnt shift into 3rd so once the rev limiter hit...ka-boom. Fixed it all the next day and no major internal damage..yeah it has the hyperjunk pistons....Forged small block will be done soon....still sprayin.
