The Ferrari 458 Italia is the car of the moment, and by far my favorite supercar on sale.
Ferrari has just released a brand new convertible version of it with even louder Exhausts -- what better way for Vicki to test it than thrash it round the mountains of its home country of Italy.
The World's Fastest Lotus? - /TUNED
Frank Profera has spent six years making his Lotus go faster, stop shorter, and corner harder.
Though it only has to move around 2,150 lbs, Frank's Lotus makes 680 wheel
horsepower with a
twin-charged 1.8L engine; giving it a better power-to-weight ratio than
Mario Andretti's Formula One Lotus. It's an ongoing project that may never
be finished, because of Frank's never-ending obsession with speed. We had
to take it for a ride.

Don't ask how I came to be driving it. I'm a year late to this review, so
most people already know what they need to know. But do they know what the
Spider is like if you drive it like a mentalist? They will now.

Fifth Gear: Audi RS3 vs. BMW 1-Series M
Fifth Gear UK and its famous host Tiff Needell compares the Audi RS3 versus
the all-new BMW 1 Series M Coupe. The BMW 1M Coupe and Audi RS3 have two
things in common... Power. Each offers an identical 335bhp and 450Nm of
However, they are two very different beasts. The Audi's 2.5-litre five
cylinder turbo drives all four wheels
via a seven speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. The BMW, on the other
hand, has a 3.0-litre straight six twin-turbo and it sends all its power to the rear
wheels via a good ol' fashioned six-speed manual.
While the 1M is rumored to redline at around 7,000 rpm, the RS3 is able to
rev up to 6,800 rpm.
The RS3 sprints to 100km/h (62mph) in 4.6 seconds. Top speed is
electronically limited to 250km/h (155mph). The compact car weighs in at
only 1,575 kilograms (3,472 pounds). On the other hand, the 1M is rumored
to run to 62 mph in 4.7 seconds and weigh in at 1611 kg (3,552 pounds).
So, who takes the win home?
