How To Build a Chevy 383 Stroker - Part 1: Block & Crank
This is a new multi part series on how to assemble a small block Chevy 383 stroker motor (actually it is an internal combustion engine - "motors" are electric - but I digress LOL).
MOST of the assembly applies to any small block engine. I have divided up the assembly procedure into many parts so you can skip to the specific part you are looking for, i.e: crank, camshaft, timing chain or how to adjust rockers.
This whole series was shot by myself with my iPhone so presenting, filming and assembling could all be done smoother but "ir-regardless" I hope it helps.

Thumping 370 Forged LS3...NASTY (first start)
First start on initial break-in tune so please forgive stalling issues (actually throttle screw just needed tightening - doesn't stall anymore).

19x14(R) 19x9(F) iForged Aeros (flared rear quarters, rear bumber and sideskirts)
C6 Z06 front brakes (laser blue) with "Trans Am" and firebird decals. Clear coated over.

2001 Camaro Z28 vs 2011 Mustang GT 5.0
My 2001 Camaro Z28 has an SLP Lid and SLP LM1 cat-back Exhaust, a 4 speed automatic with 2.73's, 67,000 miles.
My friend's 2011 Mustang GT (5.0) is completely stock, a 6 speed manual, with about 20,000 miles.
First race: Dig, Mustang misses 3rd gear.
Second race: Dig, Mustang short shifts 3rd gear.
3rd race: 30MPH roll.
4th race: 25MPH roll.
At the end of the race my friend confesses that he also left his traction control on.

Twin turbo Camaro 408 T-56 LS1 0-115 at 14 psi. 3820 lbs
Starts at 30 seconds into video. 0-115 in just over 8 seconds taking it easy in 1st gear. Running E85 for fuel. T-56 six speed manual, letting off in between shifts. Dropping fuel pressure under Boost, needs another fuel pump!
Twin turbo LS1 408 Camaro ride along (91 octane tune)
