After four years in production and sales of 270,000 units, Mercedes-Benz is now presenting the 2009 S-Class. With an even more dynamic design, even more comfort and pathfinding innovations, this extensively updated new series of the world's most successful luxury saloon is reiterating its claim to be the standard for automotive progress.
Rinspeed's first underwater Car
Rinspeed will present its new sQuba, the worlds first diving car, at the Geneva Motor Show (March 6-16). The car is not only able to drive on roads autonomously with a push of a button (thus without a driver, passenger or further assistance), but can also transform into an amphibious vehicle which can be submerged in water up to 10 meters (33 feet). An electric motor with powerful torque drives the rear wheels, while the propulsion on the water is ensured by two propellers in the stern and two powerful jet drives in the bow propelling the vehicle under water while diving. When underwater, the driver and passenger are enclosed in the vehicle thanks to light weight body components made of futuristic Carbon Nano Tubes and are supplied with fresh breathing air by the self-contained on-board system.

BMW X6 Sports Activity Coupé
BMW will thrill lovers of high-performance driving with the news of a brand new technically advanced 300 kW Twin turbo V8 petrol engine, set to debut in the all-new X6 Sports Activity Coupé in 2008.
The new segment-creating premium all-wheel drive coupé will be powered by this new V8 engine, which has a 4.4-litre capacity, produces a mountainous 600 Nm of torque, and will be known as the X6 xDrive50i. It is the most powerful engine yet seen in a BMW X model.

Mercedes-Benz S-Guard Commercial
The official commercial for the armored version of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class (German: S-Klasse) - The S-Guard. Quality made in Stuttgart, Germany. It's a masterpiece of German engineering and probably the world's safest sedan. In my opinion it's the most beautiful car in the world, too.
3 types of this car are offered:
-The "S 600 Guard": Powerd by a 6.0-V12-Biturbo engine with 380kW (USA: 510hp; D: 512PS).
-The "S 450 CDI Guard" is powerd by a 4.5-V8-Dieselengine.
-The "S 600 Pullman Guard" is a streched version for heads of states. The ceiling is heightened and the wheel base is 1,25 Meters (1.36 Yards) longer compared to the normal S-Class.
It's available in different classes of resistance: B1 (caliber .22 LR) to B7 (caliber .308 Winchester, full metal jacket)
The only disadvantage: It costs about 385 000€ (~525 000$)

There were plenty of people who doubted Mercedes-Benz' ability to successfully combine the looks and drivability of a coupé with the practicality of a saloon. They shouldn't have done... The CLS didn't just impress all those who saw it, it inspired an entire new class of rival and copycat cars, including the Audi A5 Sportback, the Audi A7 Sportback and the Volkswagen Passat CC.
This is the second generation of the car. It gets an even bolder design and totally new range of engines.
2014 Mercedes S-Class - assistance systems animation
Mercedes has officially unveiled the 2014 S-Class at the Airbus A380 delivery center in Hamburg, Germany.
Designed to become one of the most luxurious and advanced vehicles ever constructed, the 2014 S-Class has an evolutionary design that incorporates a sportier front fascia, a larger grille and a gentle slanting rear end. The sleek styling enables the model to have drag coefficient of 0.24 which is pretty impressive considering the pint-sized CLA has a drag coefficient of 0.23.
