eurotuner Project M3 vs BMW 1M
We gatecrashed the BMW 1 Series M Coupe launch in our Project E90 M3 and got some track time against the twin-turbo terror! The 1M is an amazing car but the M3 still has the edge, particularly with our GIAC software, GruppeM titanium Exhaust and carbon fiber intake. Furthermore, we fitted H&R coilovers, 19" Forgestar wheels, Continental CSC3 tires, six-piston 365mm Brembo front brakes and plenty of weight-saving carbon fiber pieces from BMW Performance, Turner Motorsport and Vorsteiner. While the cars are dicing for the video, our M3 definitely had the advantage on the brakes and at high speed. But the 1M's low-speed torque made it fast out of the turns.
