www.coyoteclassics.com 1968 Mercury Cougar 2DR HT: 302 V8, 4 speed manual, hide a way headlights, sequential tail lights, slotted rims, new tires, and new dual Exhaust. This is a very nice rust free original cougar with perfect original undercarriage thru out. It was recently painted base coat clear coat wimble ton white over a very straight original body. The original bucket seat interior was redone in cloth. This car sounds great and is a pleasure to drive with a smooth shifting manual transmission. It has just had the motor rebuilt, new clutch pressure plate, drums turned, wheel cylinders, and a beautiful paint job. This is a car you can jump right in and enjoy right now or redo the seats back to original for even a nicer and more original car.
1968 Mercury Cougar LED Taillight Comparison.wmv
This is the final chapter in my quest to find the ultimate LED lights for my 1968 Mercury Cougar. The ones that I'm happy with are part number: 1157-R18-T. They are $18.00 ea., but well worth it, as you can see from the video. Even outside, these bulbs really are bright! I almost considered getting their 45 LED light tower bulb (for $25.00 ea), but now, I'm glad I didn't! The company to get these from, is: www.superbrightleds.com.

I had to cut off my Exhaust due to an accident that bent up the pipe pretty bad, so I took a couple videos of how badass it sounds without a muffler! This is a stock 289-2v
