Engine rebuild part 1
We are rebuilding a GM 350 5.7 engine. Now in this particular case we are also going to upgrade the engine to a 383 6.0 This is called building a "stroker" motor. In other words we are increasing the "stroke" of the engine which increased the torq & horsepower.
If you are able & wanting to rebuild an engine, this video should give you a good overview of what to do. If you are having someone else build an engine for you, you will be able to see what's involved in the process
How an engine works - comprehensive tutorial animation featuring Toyota engine technologies

Chevy 350 First Fire
It was rebuilt and stored for 5 years with a total of maybe 10k miles on it (just broken in). Here we resurrect it from it's hibernation. It's been bored .030" over with flat top pistons and a 292 cam. She's got some thump!

HPF BMW Engine Build Project
Was given the opportunity to do a project for the Company where we portray how we are capable of building 1000 RWHP race engines. This is Part 3 of 4 total videos of this project. Please take the opportunity to watch all videos (its a little over 40 mins total of video!) to see my work and learn a little about engine builds hehe.
Shot with the T2i with the 50mm f1.8 lens. Had turn it up to f2.0 in most (if not all) the shots just because the Bokeh overpowered a lot of the scenes. Probably should of went higher in some scenes as well. Edited was done in FCP with a very minor color correction.
Music is by an Artist named Winkz. Thank you so much for allowing us to use your work and please support this guy. I will definitely be using more of his songs in future videos because they are simply great songs.

How to Break In A New or Rebuilt Engine - EricTheCarGuy
Visit me at
http://www.ericthecarguy.com/
I'm sure there is more than one way to do this but this is the way that I was taught and it seems to work as intended. The idea is to make sure the engine is fully lubricated before you start it up for the first time as we know all too well what happens to an engine without oil, in fact I forgot to show me filling up the oil filter with oil before I installed it sorry. Feel free to add your tips and tricks in the comments.

Basic Engine Building DVD - Chapter 25: Cylinder Block
By this time your block is disassembled and in the machine shop. One of the most informative sections, here we take you behind the scenes to show what goes on while your away. We show the process of align honing the main bearing bore that is needed before anything else can be machined. Then the block deck is leveled and machined as needed for the new head gaskets to seat properly. And finally the cylinder walls are bored out just shy of their new size, which will be achieved when they're honed.
