Mazda RX8 192 SP model, Hymee Pro Tuned from 7500 to 9600 rpm, acceleration from 40 to 130 km/h in 2nd gear ! The PCM was not yet calibrated and i had 4 wheels on the back seats, so performance was not extraordinary at the moment.
My RX8 0 - 200 kph 27.2 sec. on 1 Km!! (stock,manual 231hp)
Szevasztok Magyarok! STOCK manual 231 hp RX-8 0-153 kph (96 mph) on 1/4 mile in 14.48 sec!!!(a Ferrari 360 Spyder, 400 hp does 1/4 mile in 12.73 sec).. / 0-100 kph (62 mph) in 6.72 sec. (Factory: 6.4 sec.) / 0-128 kph (80 mph) in 10.13 sec. / 0-144 kph (90 mph) in 12.43 sec. / 0-150 kph (93.7 mph) in 13.94 sec. / 0-160 kph (100 mph) in 16.05 sec. / 0-176 kph (110 mph) in 19.92 sec. / 0-192 kph (120 mph) in 24.06 sec. / 0-200 kph (124 mph) in 27.23 sec (on less than 2/3 mile) and 0-209 kph (near 131 mph) in 32.93 sec (on other vid from me 32.1 sec. and 0-220 kph in 39.4 sec.) I'm posting this link because a lot of people were commenting that a car weight would not shift to the front when decelerating.
This video was taken on the A327 near Mont-Tremblant. It just happens that for this road trip I decided to put the GoPro on, just for fun, just to film the twist and turns on one of the few nice roads that we have in Quebec.
I normally drive carefully, as I am long past the age where I was reckless, but this time, with the influence of my friends we decided to be a little bit more "adventurous". Very stupid decision, I didn't know the road, new suspensions adjustments were made especially for track event planned for the week after. So, in short, it was a stupid decision to drive that fast, there are race tracks everywhere just for that purpose.
For those people that think they would do better, that their car can beat the crap out of the RX8 and the Boxster, how bad I am at driving and so on, don't bother leaving a comment. You probably have better ways to waste your time.
The main reasons why I decided to post this video are 1: Hey, I happened to capture a major accident, that's not something that happens too often and 2: Some lessons have to be learned the hard way. I did, so there is a chance that some people would understand that driving recklessly on a public road is totally stupid. It's dangerous for your life and the life of others. Even if you're the best driver on the planet and that you have the best car available, there is still a chance that you could make a mistake or simply that someone else would come the other way while you are crossing that nice yellow line in the middle of the road.
The car was totaled and replaced it with a SUV and two motorcycles (Ninja 650r and a Ducati Streetfighter)
EDIT: This is not bragging, it's just that I receive so many question about what replaced the RX8
