1960 Impala Sport Sedan Restoration - Spraying some hi-build primer!

Applying the first coat of Featherfill G2 high build primer to my 1960 Impala 4 door hardtop. I have my gun set for lower pressure and thus a smaller fan width so I don't blow over-spray all over my shop and into the underside of the car that is already restored and painted. It takes longer to spray, but I'm not in a hurry anyway. Watch the progress on this car at my restoration blog at www.60impala.com.

BARN FIND! 1959 chevy rare?
Car has been off the road for about 15 years and I saved it from the junkyard. my 59 chevy, it's a project car. only 20,760 two door station wagons were made in 59 probably less then half are still on the road. small block 1981 chevy engine- TH400 trans- 72 pontiac rear end. hope to be done but next year "praying to finish". I known some of the stuff on the car doesn't match so work with me here. This car has been off the road since 1995 that's what the last owner said. it was a rust bucket but after 10 years of slow body work around it. So other than that I took it off his hands and hope to restore it. the rare part; in 1959 GM made over 1.4 million chevrolets not including pick ups, over 180,000 2-door impala, over 70,000 impala convertibles, close to 25,000 el camino, and the lowers productive car made in 59 the 2-door station wagon/delivery wagons only 20,760 made. If all of the chevys made in 59 were lined up today, you would have to see 100 before u see a two door wagon

More of our story on www.vette59.com! Katharine and her dad "uncover" their Corvette after 25 years of storage in the barn. This is the first step in getting the car back on the road. The 'vette was purchased by Barry in 1970 from the original owner, and went into retirement when kids came along. The two are putting her back in road-ready condition, no NCRS untouchable flatbed riders here.

1965 Chevelle: Block Sanding Polyester Filler Video V8TV
http://www.v8tvshow.com - After the body filler work was completed, we sprayed the body of our 1965 Chevelle with a high-build polyester filler from Standox. The sprayable polyester will fill all the minor sanding scratches and any pinholes in the body filler below. The polyester will also allow body technician John to refine the car's final shape, making the panels glass-straight and the body lines crisp.
