Just a little 35-60 mph run in my 1999 mercury cougar
Title says it, I went out last night and did a few runs with a real digital camera, so the quality is much better. I am going to get the cold air installed today and do a few more runs tonight. Its going to be under 20deg, so it will be a good night for it. Walk around soon to come.
1999 Mercury Cougar 0-60
This is me doing a 0-60 run in my 1999 mercury cougar. This is the stock 2.5 v6 with a 5 speed manual. The only upgrades are a short ram intake, double platinum plugs, and muffler delete with straight pipe out the back and a cherry bomb in place of the resonator. Its all stock for now. turbo is soon to come, just need a few more parts. I did not do a high rpm launch because it was raining, I was lucky to get traction in all of these gears. Right after the video I did it again, and could not grip the road to save my life. Sorry about the quality blackberry camera. Let me know what you think.
01 or 02 Cougar alternator remova
This is for the 2.5 V6 alternator removal. I couldn't find any videos when I took this one out. Hope it helps some one.
Free Chilton Manuals Online
You need a Library card and you're all set. It sure beats opening up Chilton books at a parts store then having to pay for it because you did.
Best of all you can do this all at home.
A MUST FOR HOME MECHANICS!

Dynomax Exhaust '99 Cougar (In car)
In car Exhaust '99 Mercury Cougar. Dynomax muffler with resonator, 2.5" piping to a 3" tip with the main cat removed. It also has a short ram intake. As you can see I don't launch the car and I go WOT at about 20km/h. This is a clip for those who are interested in what a Dynomax Exhaust sounds like on a 2.5L Duratec.
Infiniti G35 0-60 MPH
Alright guys, this runs a lot better than my other video. I don't know how long it took me to reach 60, but definitly faster than my first video.
Hope you guys enjoy!
I think I accelerated towards 1.8 seconds and ended around 7.1 seconds. A 5.3 second run for 0-60MPH. Which is good for the 5AT!I believe I did better on this video than my other one by near 1.5 second. =D
By the way this is a 2006 G35 Coupe.
1999 Mercury Cougar 3L Turbo at Summit Point
Short video footage of me doing a short 2 laps on the Jefferson Circuit at Summit Point Raceway. I had to pit the car due to heavy brake fade and over heating.
