Ralliart Magna at Gold Coast Autosalon
Here is my 2002 Ralliart Magna on the Dyno at Gold Coast Autosalon. She made 191.2 kw at the wheels which was enough to win the forced induction front wheel drive class
05 STi Dyno Accident
Had a little problem on the first pull. The headers melted the strap and off she went. After that we got a good tune put on it. Thanks to Ether Tuning in Wytheville Va. Ended up with 237 hp and 309 tq on a MustangDyno.
Mods include: Short ram intake, APS Full race Exhaust, GP Moto unequal length headers, and short shifter. We had a COBB on it and took it off to put a new tune on. 1st pull was a baseline pull with the COBB.
Mitsubishi Magna Sprintex Supercharged on Dyno
Supercharged Manual TJ Magna @ 6.5psi no Intercooler.
Best Run 170kw at the wheels detuned to 165kw to protect the engine. Engine completely stock. The actual run in the video only produced 150.5kw due to bad tune which was corrected.
( FOR SALE !!!! )2002 Magna VR-X with Lukey ultra flow Muffler Rev
firsty i had just washed the car hence the water spitting all over the camera haha and it was a cold day . and it would be best checking the stock Exhaust video first so you hear the diff :)
okay so i wanted an Exhaust/muffler that was loud enough to be heard and deep enough not to sound like a rice burner, so i got this Lukey Ultra Flow muffler ( straight through design) with a 2.5 inch inlet and 14inch body, the stock muffler was about 22inch long so this ones much smaller hence the better sound, i picked it up from repco for $150, and the 3.5 inch tip for $20,
i was very happy with the end result for just a simple muffler swap over,
Please feel free to ask questions or drop a comment,
Cheers.
Mitsubishi Magna 3.0 Manual Acceleration
(My first upload, yay!) Basically, I've seen plenty of videos of automatic Mitsubishi Magnas and manual 3.5L Magnas... And a few 3.0L autos too. But there's no videos showcasing what a little 3.0L manual can do. They're a very underestimated little donk, and - while they can be asthmatic when coupled with the auto transmission - when in manual guise they are a punchy, revvy, fuel-efficient car. Especially for a low-tech, SOHC design.
The car is a 1997 Mitsubishi Magna Advance. Absolutely 100% stock on half-bald tyres, and with close to half a tank of fuel. The clutch slips slightly at the beginning of the launch... which obviously led to a less than desirable start. And yes i hit the rev-limiter in first. Many of you will try to tell me that this is pointless and i should've shifted earlier. But i recorded two runs prior to this and shifted at 6000rpm - neither of the two were as quick as this one.
Please - no negative comments. It's not the fastest car in the world, that's for sure - but it gets me from A to B, with enough zap to make it fun to drive. Give me some pointers by all means. But any swearing or negativity will be removed immediately.
(The red square around the speedo indicates when the car actually starts accelerating. When the revs initially flick up, the clutch hasn't engaged yet).
