Motorpoint took the ford Kuga off road for a test drive in the mud.. Where it was a real star. It's no good testing a 4 x 4 in town so we took it to a local quarry and really put it through its paces. The car was amazing .... see for yourself.

The Ford Kuga looks great, has strong and economical diesel engines, and strikes a good balance between comfort and control.
It It's not especially practical, there's too much wind noise and prices are high. The 2.5-litre petrol engine is thirsty.
The Ford Kuga is fun to drive, but it's not as practical as most rivals. Zetec trim is the most sensible to buy.

Ford was a little late to produce a mid-size SUV when it launched the original Kuga in 2008. However, over 45,000 have since found homes in the UK, proving that the Kuga's blend of stylish looks, economical engines and sporty drive was more than enough to lure drivers from the Volkswagen Tiguans and Honda CR-Vs. This time around, rather than just being sold in Europe, the Kuga is one of Ford's global cars to be marketed in over 100 countries, so it has to meet the differing demands of many more drivers, while not compromising what made the Kuga a success in the first place.
