When it came time to develop the fifth-generation Lexus ES, the designers and engineers took the car to a new level of refinement, interior size and appointments that actually outdoes the original LS. Built on the same platform as the Toyota Camry, the new ES 350 was developed to distance itself from the Camry in interior and exterior styling and on-road performance.
