Porsche 918 Spyder - On The Road
BrianZuk records the incredible all-new Porsche 918 Spyder. This is the only one in the world at this time. The video begins with the cover being stripped off the 918, then the 918 starts up and drives to the front of the Lodge at Pebble Beach for the Concours. The video then shows all angles of the 918, both the exterior and interior. And finally, the video concludes with the 918 driving off in all-electric mode into a trailer. 2014 Porsche 929?
A new Porsche, successor to the 928.
Porsche has a heritage of creating endless versions of their sports cars. Like the 911, the Panamera will share the same faith. We already saw several new engines -- petrol, diesel and hybrid -- over the past few months and now Porsche is committing itself to an array of bodystyles. A Panamera LWB is planned and a shorter two-door style Panamera GT is in the pen.
The renderings shown here were created by Julliana Cho and released at Yanko Design. They show a sexy, elegant two-door sports car influenced by the Porsche 918 Spyder. The designer imagines this concept as a community-share vehicle with a private feel. Members of the car-club could access a vehicle at any time from a central "docking" station where a variety of 929s would charge on a cleverly designed rotating parking structure.
We highly suggest Porsche to hire Julliana, then at least we would see some more interesting, challenging and dramatic designs from the Germans. Not like the boring new 911, which looks similar to its predecessors.
Porsche 911 Turbo GT Street R 2012 By TechArt
Over at the Essen Motor Show, some of the best auto tuners in the world will be on hand to present their latest creations, including Porsche tuner extraordinaire, TechArt.
The German tuning firm will be on hand to show three of their latest projects, including the new Porsche 911 turbo GT Street R.
The full details behind this project have yet to be revealed, although we've been informed that it's going to come with a doozy of upgrades, including Techart's new TA 097/T3 power kit that improves the output of the 911 turbo's 3.8 liter six-cylinder bi-turbo engine from the standard 500 horsepower and 516 lb/ft of torque figures all the way up to a massive 700 horsepower and 650 lb/ft of torque.

"No! You did it again. Never let the car roll." That's what Mike den Tandt, my 20-something German instrukteur, said as we caught the tail of the 2010 Porsche 911 turbo with much more than a dab of opposite lock.
► 2012 Porsche Panamera TURBO S (550 hp) on the road
The new Panamera turbo S is a unique combination of performance and efficiency, driving dynamics and comfort. The 4.8 litre, V8 biturbo charged engine delivers 550 hp (410 kW), ten percent or 50 hp (37 kW) more than the already very powerful engine in the Panamera turbo. By the same token, the torque also increases from 700 to 750 Nm. In the "Sport" and "Sport Plus" mode of the standard Sport Chrono Package turbo and during kick-down in normal mode, the eight cylinder engine delivers fully 800 Nm with the so-called overBoost function.
The power pack is behind the new top-of-the-range Panamera's record sprint times. Thanks to Launch Control, 100 km/h (62 mph) is reached in 3.8 seconds; the top speed is 306 km/h (191 mph). Despite the increased performance, fuel consumption remains at the moderate level of the Panamera turbo -- yet another example of "Porsche Intelligent Performance". In the NEDC the Gran Turismo covers 100 kilometres (62 miles) on 11.5 litres of fuel. Fuel consumption falls to 11.3 litres per 100 km (25 mpg imp.) when fitted with the 19 inch, all-season tyres with optimised rolling resistance developed for the Panamera by Michelin.
The increased performance compared with the Panamera turbo can be attributed to two main enhancements: Improved turbochargers with titanium-aluminium turbine wheels and modified engine control. The use of the innovative titanium-aluminium alloy reduces the weight of the turbine and compressor wheel. This results in a lower moment of inertia and thus in improved and more agile engine responsiveness.
Even for a top luxury class model, Porsche's new top-of-the-range Panamera boasts an extraordinarily comprehensive equipment level. In keeping with the sporty concept of the high-performance Panamera, it features the most important driving dynamics control systems as standard. For example, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), an active roll stabilisation system, nips in the bud the vehicle's tendency to lean when cornering, thus enhancing agility and comfort in equal measure. Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) applies a variable torque split to the rear wheels combined with an electronically controlled rear differential lock, thus ensuring superior traction and therefore greater agility in every driving situation. The steering system uses the speed-dependent Servotronic. The Sport Chrono Package turbo, which tunes the suspension and power unit, making them even sportier by pressing the additional "Sport Plus" button, is also fitted as standard, as is the sports Exhaust system for an even more emotional engine sound.
The sporty character of the new Panamera turbo S is apparent not just in its performance but is also reflected on the exterior. The 20-inch turbo II wheels with increased rear axle track width, side skirts from the Porsche Exclusive range and the adaptive extending four-way rear spoiler in the exterior colour ensure particularly sporty performance and look. The fusion of exclusivity and sportiness is conveyed in the interior by the bi-colour leather finish, fitted as standard. The new combination of black/cream is offered exclusively for the new Panamera turbo S with agate grey/cream also being added as an exclusive combination from the autumn.
The Panamera turbo S costs 167,076 euro in Germany, including VAT and country-specific equipment. Deliveries start in June 2011.

2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S, first presentation
2014 Porsche 911 turbo S, first presentation. World presentation in Moscow.03.05.13.
Porsche has revealed today the 911 turbo and turbo S, ahead of a public debut scheduled for September at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Following several reports and batches of spy shots, the latest 911 turbo lineup has arrived. turbo and turbo S make use of a six-cylinder, 3.8-liter direct-injection turbocharged engine delivering 520 HP (383 kW) in the 911 turbo and 560 HP (412 kW) in the 911 turbo S variant. Power is transferred to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK with auto stop/start function which has slashed off fuel consumption by 16 percent to 9.7 liters / 100 km (24.2 mpg US or 29.1 mpg UK).
The 911 turbo equipped with Sport Chrono Package will do 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds, while the turbo S is 0.1s quicker. Both of them are capable of reaching a top speed of 198 mph (318 km/h).
Length has increased by 40mm to 4490mm, while width is also up by 28mm compared to Carrera 4 models to 1878mm. Porsche has also stretched the wheelbase by 100mm to 2450mm, while the front and rear tracks are also longer than before. Both models ride on 20-inch alloy wheels but only the S version has hub wheel locks. The turbo S also gains full LED headlights with four-point daytime running lights and camera-based main beam control (optionally available for turbo).
Just like the 911 GT3, the turbo variants have four-wheel steering which help the cars lap Nürburgring in less than 7 minutes 30 seconds with standard production tires fitted. Both of them have a retractable three-stage rear spoiler and a deployable rear wing with three adjustable wing positions.
Scheduled to reach the market in September, the 2014 Porsche 911 turbo has a starting price in Germany of 162,055 EUR while the 911 turbo S begins at 195,256 EUR. VAT and country-specific taxes included.
