I was railfanning with my school aged sons at two locations. You can hear the two completely different responses we received.
Burlington Northern action-7-15-07-IRM Union,Illinois
Alrighty, time for a couple of Burlington engines. First one is a beautifully repainted Burlington SW7, and the other one is the recently reapainted BN #5383. We were right next to the horn when the switch engine came up. I have a U30C in HO scale, only that its in Chessie System paint. Enjoy.
CNW #411 at the IRM
The CNW Bi-level commuter train, pulled by CNW #411, runs at the Illinois Railway Museum on 10/06/07.
Near the end of the video, you get to see a rare treat: Union Pacific C40-8's #9052 and #9033 running light on the old C&NW line.
B&M U30C #663 Goes it alone!!! Pulling HARD! 09/10/1992
B&M U30C #663 Goes it alone!!! Pulling HARD! 09/10/1992. Train symbol WADH westbound at Plaistow,NH. Power control must have been brave that day. Usually they left the terminal with 5-7 engines so they would have 1 or 2 running at the end of the run....they must have cut the dead ones out already so the old tub could pull the train! Burlington's Nebraska Zephyr 1-7-15-07-IRM Union,Illinois
This is an up-close shot of the Nebraska Zephyr as we were standing on the platform. The parade was about to start. The streamliner coaches were out of service when we came here. Enjoy.
