Few mods, 305ci, 1.6 rockers are the only internal upgrade, mostly open exaust, new paint, suspension, brakes. This is a before video.. meaning that this winter im doing work to it. Runs 15.3 in the quarter as of now, shooting for the high 13s by april
83 Monte Carlo / 2.5" Pypes xpipe system / ProV -2
This video has a 1983 Monte Carlo that features a Pypes 2.5" Headerback system and Pypes X-pipe. This Monte Carlo is also equipped with a pair of Pypes ProV mufflers. The ProV mufflers have been discontinued so re recommend you check out our videos with Violator mufflers for a comparable sound.

PLEASE WATCH THIS VIDEO, or atleast the last 2min., unbelievable first fit is a good one! I filmed fitting this quarter panel on the SS and amazingly, it fit together quite well and lined up very well on the first fit test, so I went ahead and loaded this 8 minute real time video even though, forgive me, that goofy Rod Stewart song happened to be playing on my radio, I wish I had paid attention to what was playing on my radio when I pushed the record button because, lets face it, I don't have any money and nobody thinks I'm sexy......but thats okay... I'm having a blast anyway.

After bringing it home it kind of turned out to be a small restoration. Replaced the brake system, new radiator, new OEM Exhaust from manifolds back including the huge catalytic convertor, 4 new tires, all new OEM interior, hoses, belt, battery, shocks, etc, etc, etc,........I still have a lot to do to it but thats part of the fun!
1982 BBC 396 T-top Cutlass update
Spring is here, time to start working on the project. Had to switch over to a long water pump setup in order to get the power steering pump to fit.
