This is the 0-60 time of a 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid. It has a 1.3L SOHC 8-valve i-VTEC gas engine with an Integrated electric engine between the gas engine and the CVT transmission. (IMA; Integrated Motor Assist). A mix between city (mostly city) and highway driving, it gets on average of 44-50 MPG, and usually averages around 440 miles per 10 gallons of gas. (which does average 44MPG).

Chevy HHR Air Filter / Engine Cover Removal and Replacement Ecotec
This video is a small explanation of how to remove and change the air filter, and remove the engine cover on a 2009 Chevrolet HHR with the 2.2 Ecotec engine. I believe it's the same for the 2.4 Ecotec as well. I made this video for those who didn't know how. It's not hard at all, but it's just an awkward placement of the filter and some may not be able to find it or know how to remove the cover. This car has 29,600 miles on it and the filter was original. It didn't look too bad at all, but it was very dusty. Probably needs to be changed.

08 Honda Civic Hybrid IMA Battery Issues
This video shows what MANY HCH owners are experiencing with deminished IMA battery life, poor performance, less mpg, excelleration issues an AH unwillingness to address the issue since there program update on the software in 2010.

2006 Honda Civic Hybrid IMA battery Problem; Rapid Discharging and Charging
Rapid Discharging at 3:05 Rapid Charging at 13:55 This happens ~8-10 times/day!! Sometimes, it happens again after 2-3km driving distance. Honda dealer says "They can't fix it without an error code" If you are a 06-08 Civic Hybrid owner, and if you experience the same problem, please comment.

Honda Civic Hybrid Effeciency Issues
I have a 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid that is said by Honda Corporate to be in perfect working condition. However, the car behaves 100% differently in cold weather (mornings) vs warm weather (anything over 80 degrees or so). In cold weather any time you press the accelerator (even slightly), IMA assist kicks on & remains on as long as you are accelerating. In warm weather, I can go 10 miles only seeing IMA assist pop up & back down again & VERY rarely remaining on more than 2-3 seconds. Unfortunately the afternoon footage was shot while I only had two bars of battery, however, the same thing happens with 50-75% bars too (I will try to re-record at that time & link the video here) If you are having this same issue with your hybrid, please comment here - or is it just mine?

2007 Honda Civic EX Test Drive - Acceleration Compilation
Just beating down this 2007 Honda Civic EX Sedan a bit. Funny thing is that the XM Radio was still working, seems like the previous owner still hasn't canceled the subscription. Just crystal clear and one of my Favorite Sam Sparro songs was playing on one of the presets. This is the 1st Civic I've driven of this Generation and it is a rather nice small car. This one was very equipped. The Interior was OK, Seats are on the firm side though it is roomy It really Accommodated my 6ft, 2" 172lbs frame rather well. Biggest CON is the Long A-Pillar which is always in the way. Overall the 2006 and newer Civic is worlds better than even the Newest Corolla and should put Toyota to shame that even a 2006 Civic has better quality and looks than a 2011 Corolla. If this car had more comfortable seats, a more powerful engine, The A-Pillar thing is something I need get used to, this would be a car I wouldn't mind to drive everyday. I'm a Ford + Euro car guy but So far it's one of the few small cars that I enjoyed overall. I would recommend it highly.

2010 Honda Civic EX Kickdown Acceleration 90KM/H to 130KM/H
This was a relatively green engine, with about 1,200 km on it when this video was taken. The car was an automatic, with the stock 140hp 1.8 litre engine that comes with every Civic.
