The NWP Engineering 92 Nissan Maxima Project Car has a VQ35DE engine swap and it just lowered the World Record that we already own for Fastest All Motor Nissan Maxima with a 1/4 mile pass of 12.05 @ 114.5mph.
On April 9, 2010, we visited Coastal Plains Dragway in Jacksonville, NC.

Just a roll race between these two ppl,the accord got an Exhaust and Richie V6 J pipe while the Maxima got a 3.5 swap,Exhaust but still running 3.0 ECU tho.
Sorry for not being able to get everything at the end on video,it was really hard for me to record and drive at the same time.

92 Maxima 3.5L Engine Swap - 1st and 2nd gear WOT

The very first 92 Nissan Maxima Automatic with a FULL ECU VQ35DE 3.5L Engine Swap from an 02 Maxima. The engine is running well. This video is a wide open throttle run through mid part of 1st gear, then proceeding to spin the tires deep into 2nd gear! The 1-2 shift was around 6K rpm, which is very early for this specific engine. This run is completely All Motor. I apologize for the shaking camera. More videos to come soon! Don't worry!
