Jeep had a broken front axle and broken rear driveshaft.
jeeps winch was also broken
excursion is V10 on 44" boggers with 8" lift

Full armor, 33" AT tires, HEMI with 4" lift and beat to snot. I did not expect this puddle to be this deep at all and funny the interior flooded it's interior nicely-lol.
Excursion pulled by rear axle till it breaks off
October 25, 2011 about 5:30 am on a clear night I was driving this Excursion and a 34' trailer along a straightaway when I hit a patch of black ice. My truck jack-knifed three times down the highway. I was afraid I was going to go into the ditch. I was very fortunate to bring the truck and trailer, jack-knifed, to a stop. As I was trying to straighten out...a semi-truck, at the beginning of the straightaway (over 1km), came towards me. i'm thinking "Great, he'll see me and stop any traffic while I straighten out." I was wrong. He continued and about 12 seconds before, I stopped my truck and ran out...I was literally in mid-air jumping into the ditch, covering my head, when his semi-truck destroyed my truck and trailer. The impact threw the 8000 lbs Excursion over 200 feet. The sound was surreal. The semi-truck driver said "I didn't see you..."
You can see the rear axle was completely torn off...
Mud Bog Deep Pit #3 Calhoun County Wood Festival 2010
Hillbilly Proud returned to the Calhoun County Wood Festival on June 5, 2010 for the first time since 2007. Grantsville hosts a great event with three mud pits for the WVMRA (West Virginia Mud Racing Association) competition. We love the three pit set up. Racers all had a pit they could enjoy with a speed pit, 18" pit, and deep pit in action. Thanks to all those in Calhoun County for the hospitality.

Truck, Snow, FAIL HD(truck wrecks in 4ft snow drift, loader barely pulls it out)
I am visiting friends in Maryland. Several others came to visit last night, and we tried unsuccessfully to escort them home with the 4X4 truck. We returned home at 3am, and then tried again this morning to just go in the truck.
We slid out of the road down a bank and into a snowdrift that was approximately 4ft deep. The nice thing was there was a giant front-end loader clearing a path at King Farms, and the gentleman operating it offered to pull us out. It took several attempts, but finally with truck and loader working together. We managed to pull it free.
Then we had to shovel an area large enough for the long wheelbase truck to turn around so we could return the way we came.
All in all, it was a fun experience. Plows came through later in the day, and everyone was able to return home, after shovelling the 800 ft driveway.
