Mazda brought over the 2012 Mazda2 to take on the likes to the Nissan Versa and Honda Fit. The Mazda2 is a bit more sporty and full of Zoom Zoom! There is no mistaking the 2012 Mazda2 for anything else with its bright green paint and front bumper with a huge smile.
Mazda kept things simple when it comes to the Mazda2. The base price is $14,530 and the car is powered by a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 100 horsepower and 98 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy checks in at 29 MPG in the city and 35 MPG on the highway. On the inside the Mazda features a driver focused cockpit. The seat is cushioned, the manual transmission is perfectly place, the gauges are easy to read, and the buttons are in the right place.
The 2012 Mazda2 is frugal, fun to drive, and practical. It is a fantastic car. Mazda knows how to make a sporty car no matter the price point. The 2012 Mazda2 might be the most fun you can have with a 100 horsepower engine.
