Grand Am Dashboard Fix
My 2002 Pontiac Grand AM's dashboard is suffering from shrinkage. I found this solution on www.grandamgt.com from a forum contributor named Scott.
What you need:
- Fuel Line tubing (3/8" ID 5/8" OD)
(I actually used 5/8" I.D. 7/8" O.D. because my dash was so bad)
- Butt end of a screwdriver
- Razor

Grand Am Constant Signal Clicking
Replaced the hazard light switch, it's the wiper/signal combo switches on the steering column. Just demonstrating how bloody annoying this is!!

So, once again GM has done it. They invented something that failed and yet again they don't have a solution. This feature should not be added to any car, even if someone steals the car, the odds of this system to stop working are zero to none. Once WE THE OWNERS need to replace an ignition cylinder or an ECM, then the system fails for us. And the Dealership has NO CLUE how to fix it other than the helpful tip to crack the ECM open and replace the "memory chip". We all know that the memory chip is integrated and soldered on these years models. There is a reason why I love FORD!

This video has been a long timing coming and is one of the most requested things I get is about batteries going dead overnight so I'm very happy to finally bring you this video about the process of finding a parasitic draw which is a small drain on a battery above 50ma when the vehicle is shut off. Once you find the right fuse(s) the next step is to trace the components involved in that circuit till you find the source of the draw, you first start with a wiring diagram to give you an idea of where to start looking and then start unplugging things in that circuit to isolate the cause, it's quite scientific really a simple process of elimination.
