2011 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi DynoMax VT Muffler
This is how a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew with the 5.7L 390 HP Hemi sounds after I swapped the stock 26" monster muffler for the new DynoMax VT muffler. It is the 22" 3'" Single In / 2.5" Dual Out model # 17963. This muffler has what DynoMax calls "Valve Technology" which is pretty quiet when at idle or at highway speeds, but opens up at wide open throttle. It is really an improvement over the stock muffler, but has the advantage of Zero Drone at Highway Speeds. At the time of this video, the muffler has only been on the truck 24 Hours, and about 40 Miles. It should get a little louder with time after burn-in.
dodge ram 1500 exhaust stacks magnaflow 4" race muffler
So I got pulled over last weak for being to loud so I decided to try a slightly bigger muffler. Its a magnaflow round race muffler # 14163. Now this is first start up and it still needs the 1200 mile break in so its pretty quiet. Ill make a new vid once its broken in.

2009DodgeRam 1500 Mufflex 14" Magnaflow dual exhaust
Installed the Mufflex retrofit 14 inch Magnaflow muffler. It brought out all 390 ponies in the 5.7 liter Hemi. The old stock muffler was big enough to float down the river on!. If you have a truck that has factory dual Exhaust you want to be able to hear it!!. The Mufflex Magnaflow system achieves just that.I recommend it to all 2009 ram owners

magnaflow 24 on a 2010 dodge ram 1500
I finally installed a 24 inch Magnaflow muffler on my truck and I thought it would be helpful for other people to hear this in order to best choose which muffler is best for them. I had little idea what this was going to sound like cause there are only 2 other videos of people running the 24 inch muffler on a 4th generation ram 1500. I had a muffler shop put it on for me instead of buying the Mufflex dod24m kit which I think is the way to go I actually saved close to $80 doing so, plus I know it's on their good. I have maybe put 10 miles on it so far and I like it very much but it is not a whole lot louder than stock, probably about one and a half times louder. It's more of a deeper tone than stock which I am starting to like. My favorite thing about it is how it not only sounds awesome when you put your foot into it but when you don't want to listen to it you can just back up a bit and its almost not noticeable at all more like a low rumble. If you want to hear it all the time I would suggest getting the 18 or even the 14. If you have any questions please leave a comment I will try to check them every now and then.
