This is a test drive of the 2011 Chevrolet Caprice police car. The car has tons of room, 0-60 in 6 seconds and tops out at 148,( top speed not tested). After about 50, 0-60-0 runs, I drove the car and it had zero brake fade. The car handles great and would run circles around a Crown Vic.

Mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, 0 to 60 mph in the sub 6-second range. The Chevrolet Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle is scheduled to hit the streets in 2011. GM says that a V6 option will also be offered beginning in the 2012 model year.

This car at this time is not available for civilian purchase.
