here's a review of a few Autoglym products and black magic wheel cleaner that I used to clean and wax my Honda Fit before snowfall.
Autoglym Paint Pro -- The Complete Paint Rectification System

Autoglym and Rain-X beading
This is my personal car. When purchased (Aug 23rd, 2011) it was given a Sapphire Detail (New Car Preparation), which included AutoGlym High Definition Wax and the windows were treaded with Rain-X water repellent. Please note that this car is driven every single day, and is never parked indoors.
This video was shot 2 months later, showing how simply washing a vehicle regularly can maintain the effectiveness of both the AutoGlym Wax and Rain-X. This video also shows the durability of Rain-X, capable of reaching well into 3-4 months if well maintained, as opposed the common belief of "two weeks and it's done."

NOTE:if you RINSE the roof first,you''ll get water and detergent running down the paintwork at low pressure and low volume which can cause streaking and ruin the job.So do the sides first,,start at the bottomm (at the sills)and move side to side lengthways along the car(like mowing)and moving gradually up the vertical surface to the top.Then do the other side of the car before you tackle the horizontal surfaces such as the bonnet,boot and roof.Do these in strips,but always start at the far side and work back towards you.Do the bonnet and boot first,then finally the roof.Rins it off and that's the best possible way to use a jetwash.

Autoglym Surface Detailing Clay Kit
This kit contains a Surface Detailing Clay Bar together with an instant detailing lubricant (Rapid Detailer). Use in conjunction to remove embedded road grime, tar, tree sap, overspray, industrial fallout and other common paint contaminants.
The Surface Detailing Clay Bar is a specially formulated clay compound that quickly and safely removes contaminants that are trapped on the paint surface. The clay works by 'grabbing' microscopic particles and pulling them free from the surface leaving an ultra smooth finish in preparation for polishing.
INSTRUCTIONS: Wash vehicle with Autoglym Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner. Thoroughly knead the clay to make it warm and supple. Pull off a piece and form into a pad about the size of a large coin. In cold weather, place the clay under warm water for easy moulding. Aim to treat one vehicle panel at a time covering an area about 50 centimetres square, starting with the roof and working down. Ensure the vehicle is cool. Spray a generous amount of the lubricating Rapid Detailer / clay lubricant onto the clay and onto the area to be treated. Gently move the clay over the surface with a backward and forward motion using only light finger pressure. Frequently re-lubricate the area being treated. Once the area feels smooth to the touch, wipe away any excess Rapid Detailer / clay lubricant with the blue microfiber cloth and move to a new area, re-applying Autoglym Rapid Detailer / clay lubricant to the clay and the surface. Repeat the process across all areas to be treated and remember to knead the clay regularly, to keep it supple. It is important to keep folding the clay to expose a continually fresh surface to the contaminated paintwork. Once the clay being used is contaminated throughout, start again with a fresh piece.
Once the vehicle is contaminant free, apply Super Resin Polish using Perfect Polishing Cloth in a light circular motion, finishing in straight lines to give even coverage. Increase pressure to remove haze or scratches. Apply to individual panels or entire body and allow residue to dry before lightly buffing with clean cotton cloth.
The ultimate finish can be obtained using Autoglym's High Definition products. After claying use High Definition Cleanser to remove all traces of old waxes, silicones, etc. This will leave a perfectly prepared surface to which you can apply Autoglym High Definition Wax for an outstanding high gloss finish offering exceptional resistance to environmental attack.

Headlamp Polishing Restoration Quick Fix on E36 BMW
I decided to polish my foggy headlamp lenses on my 1996 BMW 318Ti M-Tech Sport. I used 3M medium cut rubbing compound and a old rag I made from a towel.
