1972 Datsun 240Z run. (One last good time before I sold it)
Right before I sold it...
Clicking noise is a leak in the balancing tube (welded day after this video) Some sloppy shifts due to slack in the rear end and un-adjusted clutch with cracked clutch arm bracket.
I loved/love this car! So much fun to drive...
450hp LS1 1978 Datsun 280Z
One of the coolest imports I've had the opportunity to see in action, this extremely streetable 1978 Datsun 280z takes it's first trip to the drag strip to do some testing. The car has an LS1 with heads, cam, and FAST intake manifold putting down around 450 wheel horsepower! Best 1/8 mile time was 7.11 for the night.
My Datsun 280z car build
A compilation of videos and photos from the last 3 years of building my Datsun 280Z. I've dreamed for so long about driving this thing and now I its better than I could have imagined. Burnout at the end too!

This is old school, has a L79 327ci Chevy motor with solid lifters, camel hump heads, forged steel crank, 5 speed, ride height/camber adjustable coil-over suspension and welded rear.
Wanted to capture the great vintage Exhaust note of this vehicle and was able to preserve the smell of the Exhaust on the camera as well. Cough, cough, that was a bonus!
