First Holden Volt test drives - Sydney December 2011
In December 2011, VIPs and media joined Holden at the official reveal of the first Holden Volts to arrive in Australia. These left hand drive vehicles are not allowed to be driven by non-Holden employees, so the first drive took place in a Sydney warehouse.

2011 RACV Energy Breakthrough - Holden event review
As a major sponsor of the RACV Energy Breakthrough, Holden provides 22 employees as mentors throughout the year. The mentors help students and school teachers design, construct and test their own human-powered vehicles. More than 6000 students from 170 primary and secondary schools descend on Maryborough to participate in demonstrating how they have used environmentally-friendly technology to power vehicles of different shapes and sizes.

During the event, Holden showcased its new electric car, The Volt which kicked off the trials of the student's vehicles on the "Holden Track" with a parade lap.
Holden Volt Revealed To Media
http://www.holden.com.au/volt Volt, the no-compromise electric car, was previewed to motoring media at an exclusive event in Sydney on December 8/9 2011.
The event, featured the first left hand drive engineering model vehicles to arrive in Australia, and was the first time the motoring media have seen the Volt as a Holden.

Holden has gone back to the future, restoring its very first concept car -- the 1969 Holden Hurricane.

The futuristic research vehicle described as an experiment "to study design trend, propulsion systems and other long range developments" has been restored to its former glory as a labour of love by a dedicated group of Holden designers and engineers.
Code named RD 001; the Hurricane is a mid-engined, rear-wheel drive, two-seater sports car which incorporates a remarkable array of innovative features and technology, much of it way ahead of its time.

Chevrolet Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle Evaluation - January 2011
The Chevrolet Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle will be made by GM Holden in Australia.
Based on the Holden Caprice, it was recently evaluated by US police departments at the Firebird International Raceway in Phoenix, Arizona.
Holden took some cameras behind the scenes and captured this vision of the police officers putting the Caprice through its paces.
