390 Ford open headers first start
This is my 390 I rebuilt over the winter and it's in my 1970 Ford Galaxie Sportsroof. Headers are from Mad Dog Headers, has a Comp Cams 268H-10 w/ springs, standard bore and stroke, Edelbrock 1405 sitting on an S code iron intake.
Ford 390 FE on dyno - 331 horsepower
A very basic Ford 390 - stock bottom end, stock heads, Comp 260H cam, Performer RPM intake, used 600 Holley carb. Ran amazingly well for 331 horsepower at 4800 RPM and 388 torque at 3900
