My Honda Knock!
This is how my engine sounds around 1500 - 2300 rpm! Is this a rod knock??? WHAT THE CRAP ON A STICK!!!!
Honda Accord Engine Slight Knock
The knock can be heard under a light load (maintaining speed mainly) - only when the engine is hot (completely warmed up) -- and only from like 1700-3000 rpms... I cant figure it out.. The video doesnt do it justice cause on the video it only sounds like spark (pre-ignition sound) - but trust me, it cant be pre-ignition... Its driving me crazy -- I swear its rod knock... almost convinced it is! Its loud and constant when under light load...

Just purchased 1993 Honda Accord SE Coupe. F22A6 engine with 348,000 KM's (216K miles). Valves recently adjusted but no difference to clatter. Engine runs fine; plugs proper colour; decent oil consumption but too noisy. Similar to other Accords of this vintage, so maybe typical of this genre.

Edit: Further examination revealed that the sounds were due to the pulley on the water pump failing.
My engine recently started developing a deep rattling/knocking sound. I'm hoping that some of you can help suggest what the problem might be.

I really don't know what this noise is but does anyone know where its coming from? or what it sounds like? The car still runs good and still smooth, just the knocking or clicking noise is very anoyying.
