To be honest there is a minor bit of drone at low RPMs under load. Once a downshift is done to put RPMs around 3,000 under load (uphill) then the slight drone disappears.

for a brief period I had a stretch almost empty.... luckily I had my Digicam with me so mashed the pedals of my BMW 330i and Voila!! Btw I started off in 2nd gear, so the start was a bit sluggish.
