Electric Car with In-Wheel Motor Volvo ReCharge concept
Learn about EV technology: http://www.electric-vehiclenews.com
Volvo Electric Car with In-Wheel Motors. Only about 15% of the energy from the fuel you put in your tank gets used to move your car down the road or run useful accessories, such as air conditioning. The rest of the energy is lost to engine and driveline inefficiencies and idling. Therefore, the potential to improve fuel efficiency with advanced technologies is enormous. With an Electric Car it costs just $2.00 per 100kms with MUCH more performance than with petrol at $20.00 per 100kms.

On May 17, 2009, RM Auctions, in association with Sothebys, is proud to present the third annual Ferrari: Leggenda e Passione auction, an event that celebrates the automotive legacy of Enzo Ferrari and the passion of the Ferrari enthusiast.
After winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans and contributing to Ferraris competition dominance in the late 1950s and early 1960s, the iconic Testa Rossa, in its various iterations, is rightly regarded as one of the finest and most capable sports racing cars of its generation. Breathtakingly beautiful and downright fast, only about 34 Testa Rossas were ever built, including both prototypes. Chassis no. 0714 was the second customer car assembled and sold new to racing driver and future coach builder Piero Drogo. Half a century later, it benefits from an extensive competition record, from its first race at the 1000 kms of Buenos Aires to its more recent Mille Miglia Storica and Monterey Historics participation. The Scaglietti bodywork is simply stunning, highlighted by the aggressive pontoon fenders, and it goes without saying that 0714 would be welcomed with open arms to all the great historic race meetings and events around the globe. It is undoubtedly one of the most coveted Ferraris in the marques storied history.
