1990 Toyota 2WD SAS Build Lifted Yota Toy 4X4
The build process of my Toyota. Started out as a junky 1990 2WD and i did a 4wd SAS on it. Rebuilt the motor and refinished the interior.

Finally ready to post #2. Picks up where the first one left off. Spring of '09, buttoning up the solid axle swap and dual transfer case install. Includes some quick clips of the first time it moved on it's own power since the transformation. Moving on, there are some stills of my home fabbed tube-work including sliders, front bumper, and an internal cage, all completed within 1 week of this video post. Finally vids of our 5/1/10 trip to Tuttle Creek where my dad gets to pilot the Toy for the first time. Enjoy and don't forget to comment/ rate/ subscribe!

85 4runner on rocky mountain loop
Shakedown run in my 85 4Runner after a year and a half build. Specs are 22R, W 56, Marlin Ultimate Dual Crawlers clocked 10 degrees, Lock Right in the rear and open in the front, geared 4.10. Lift comes from Superlift in the front with stock rears with extended shackles, add a leaf and 2 inch blocks from Auto Zone (Which I don't recommend.) Armor comes from Trail gear for the front axle and All Pro for the sliders and a heavily massaged Triple X cross member for the clocked cases. The axle wrap you hear my camera man talking about started to crush the lift blocks down around the spring perch causing the pinion to rotate up. If you look closely you can see it. I later did one of the harder lines at Kodak Rock before the damage was noticed. 63 inch Chevy's are in my near future.....

After redoing the suspension on my brothers rig we decided to test it out along with his doubler.
Yellow Truck: 4" Alcan orbit eye springs. Doubler with 4:1 in rear case. Detroit lockers front and rear. 5.29's with V6 Diff, 35" BFG MT's
Grey Truck: 3" Trail gear springs, lockers front and rear, 4.7 gears in t-case, 5.29's, V6 diff, 37" MTR's, 2" b.s. wheels, lots of custom work here and there.

Rob's 89 Toyota Rockcrawler from 35's to 42's
These are some random clips of my Toyota pickup from Tuttle Creek (near Randolph, KS) and down at Disney, OK. Started out with a Toyota straight axle swap and 35" procomp xterrains... Ended up 1 ton axles (d60/14b) and 42" super swamper IROKs. Had a blast in that rig. Yes the engine was making a loud clatter but kept chuggin' away. The guy I sold the motor to called to let me know the cam was wore so much and that's why we could never get the valves adjusted right. Front springs was a home brew toy rear pack, 63" chevy rears. Running a 2.28+4.7 doubler with twin stick.
