Buying a 2013 BMW M6 gets you instant credibility adding to your status as a high end automobile consumer. This new M6 has been redesigned and receives a new engine. Not only does the M6 coupe look incredible, it has the power to put a smile on your face. The 2013 BMW M6 has a base price of $106,100. The engine that powers the BMW M6 coupe is the same fire breathing monster that lives in the M5. This 4.4 liter V-8 engine is downsized compared to the outgoing model but the power has been increased due to the addition of twin turbochargers. The 2013 BMW M6 coupe now puts out 560 horsepower and 50 lb-ft. of torque. Expect 0-60 MPH times to be in the low 4 second range. When equipped with the 6-speed manual transmission, the M6 coupe gets 15 MPG in the city and 22 MPG on the highway. These figures are made possible by the Auto Star-Stop function which shuts down the engine during times when the car is at idle. This new M6 has a couple of really trick features and components. The roof is made from carbon fiber in order to shave a few extra lbs. from the total curb weight. High performance ceramic brakes are available as an option. This $8500 option is a must for those looking to take their M6 out on the track ever so often. The standard wheels are 19-inch units but you can upgrade to 20-inch alloy wheels for $1300 more. A few other packages that are available include an Entertainment Package, Night Vision, Driver Assistance Package, and an Executive Package. The 2013 BMW M6 is a luxury sport coupe that is at the top of the automotive heap. This car offers tons of luxury, technology, and most importantly: performance.
