ISIS Power F100- Heidts Front Crossmember Part 2
Jay Harris of ISIS Power shows the progress on the front end of the Heidts Superide II IFS. We're completely replacing the original leaf-spring suspension on the new chassis for our 1955 Ford F100 Panel truck, the ISIS truck.
We welded up the boxing plates on the front end, then squared up the new front cross member and tacked it in. After we checked square again, we welded it in and cleaned everything up. The Heidts kit is great and everything fits onto our 55 year old chassis.

Here is the first series of Composiclean's "Project Mascot" photos. The truck is being built for Composiclean, LLC as a company mascot and show machine. This slideshow takes you from the first day back in April 2010 in Vermont where I got the 53 Chevy pickup to the end of September 2010. It is now rolling on C4 Corvette suspension front and rear and a C4 L98 engine with 700R4 transmission. There are parts and pieces from 2 Corvettes and three trucks.
