Glass Fenders , Hood , Bumper , Trunklid etc. Street driven race car = LOTS of Fun ! The industrial street was a little too short for real fun though..
1964 Ford Galaxie Race Car idling at 1000 rpm.
Idled for 15 minutes without heating issues to check on pressure , leaks etc. Race coming up this weekend and it needs to handle the staging lines burnouts etc without stalling or overheating. Seems to do fine now .

4 speed Top Loader transmission, high performance clutch, balanced driveshaft, 9inch Detroit Locker rear end with 4.11:1 gears.
The body and paint on the car are flawless, arrow straight and the car has had one repaint, nearly 20 years ago. The interior, similarly flawless.

I call it Grannys Grocery Galaxie, with an original 40,000 miles the granny who owned this car only drove it back and forth to the grocery store and kept it parked in her garage most all the rest of the time! All original, matching numbers, survivor every piece and detail on this classic still has the original FoMoCo stamping. The paint looks to be possibly original and still in presentable condition.
