Me running my buddies stalled full bolt on Trans am in my fox body 5.0. Trick flow heads bbk SSI intake mani bbk long tubes anderson power pipe 3.73 gears going through a v6 t-5 trans.

just put videos & pics together of my $600 budget Mustang project...i had $600. & wanted to flip a car went on craigslist.com & bought this Mustang for $430. & drove her home 50 miles....drove it for a week & collected some pats & materials for my project...bought passenagers fender for $25. from cocoa auto salvage..."thanks sandy!"...$27. a gallon...rustoleum safety red paint from home depot, (they had more colors then walmart)...$12. fiberglass...$9. bondo....went to the dollar store & bought scotch brite pads to prep the body before paint, all & all i have a total of $600. in the project.

Cammed 5.0 Timing Fixed
Yesterday I made a 5 min. Video on my Heads, Cam & Intake swap. In the video, the car was not running its best, I just made the video because I was very excited to finish the upgrade and was enjoying my new toy. But now, it's day 2 of having it running again, so me and my dad fixed the timing issue. The timing is set at 12 deg advanced. Can't wait to get some in-car videos with it..

So, I haven't drove the Mustang alot since we finished the top end build, so I decided to go for a cruise on Saturday morning. Weather was incredible, figured i'd take some videos. Hope you enjoy, even if you don't like the vid, please comment with the reason why...
5.0 Mustang GT rebuild
This is my 87 GT that I bought back in August of 2002...It was basically left for dead in the backyard of its previous owner. I only paid $375 for it with no motor.
It had a long list of problems including...Transmission only had 2 working gears,cracked winshield,headlights,tailights,old peeling tint,bent cowl panel due to the hood flying up,alot of surface rust,and some bad rust on the hatch,door and passenger front fender.The interior was full of trash and dust, since they left the window down.
I ended up selling this car after it came along ways to its what was current estate...but unfortantly the kid I sold it too trashed it then sold it to another owner who trashed it even more :(.
I then ran into this car in summer of 08...offered to buy it back,went to go pick it up,and he sold it from under me to a guy who scoops up local fox bodys and parts them out or destroys them:(. I only wish I knew what happend to it so I could restore her again...but anyways thanks for watching
FORD MUSTANG LX 5.0 REBUILD
Originally a silver 4 cylinder automatic headed to the junkyard, now a carbureted 5.0, 5 speed, 3.73 gears with every 5.0 V8 drivetrain/suspension option added (or being added). Runs 14.2 @ 98mph. Stay tuned for further progress.
